Can I have my therapy session over the phone or via online video?
Yes! Most therapy sessions can be held either over-the-phone or via online video sessions, with the same personal attention and privacy as an in-person therapy session.
What is the cost of therapy?
What time can I schedule an appointment?
We are open Monday – Saturday. Clients work with their therapists to determine the best appointment times.
What Insurance do you accept?
We accept the following insurance(s):
Aetna, BlueCross and BlueShield, Cigna, ValueOptions, Vendor – NYC Board of Education, and Out-of-Network. We also take several EAP (Employee Assistance Program) providers which is a service many employers provide free of charge.
If my Insurance provider does not cover therapy, can I pay out of pocket?
Yes, you can pay for therapy out-of-pocket. We also take FSA and HSA cards for payment. We can provide you with a financial statement or superbill that you can use to submit to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits.
Do you offer Couples Therapy?
Do you work with children?
Yes. Our therapists have a tremendous amount of experience and training in working with children of all ages.
Does PFCS complete medical documents for employment, etc?
Yes, PFCS will be able to complete documents for you at a low rate per page. Requests must be made at least 7 days in advance.
How long are the sessions?
Individual Therapy sessions are 45 minutes long. Collateral sessions are 30 minutes long. Couples Therapy and Family Therapy are both 60 minutes long.
