H.E.R. Diary — Women's Group
You are the one everyone leans on.

You are the friend people call, the daughter who handles it, the one at work who gets it done. And somewhere in becoming that person, you stopped having anywhere to put your own weight down.
H.E.R. Diary is a room where nobody needs anything from you.
What it is
H.E.R. Diary is an empowerment group for women ready to heal, grow, and reclaim their voice.
It is intentionally small and intentionally honest — a safe, culturally affirming space where women do the real work of becoming more fully themselves, alongside other women doing the same.
What we work on
Communication — finding your voice and using it with confidence, including in the rooms where that has never felt safe.
Relationships — building healthier, more authentic connections, and getting honest about the ones that take more than they give.
Confidence — replacing self-doubt with grounded self-worth. Not affirmations. The actual work of changing what you believe about yourself.
Healing — processing what you have been carrying, in a space where nobody is going to judge you for the shape of it.
What a session is like
Guided discussion, reflective journaling prompts, skill-building exercises, and genuine peer connection.
You will leave each session with practical tools you can use immediately — not only a feeling that fades by Wednesday.
You are not required to talk. Some women spend the first sessions listening, and that is a legitimate way to be in the room.
Why a group and not just individual therapy
They are not alternatives, and many women do both.
What a group gives you that a therapist cannot is the evidence. Hearing another woman describe your own life back to you — a woman who has no reason to be kind about it — lands differently than being told you are not alone.
Several members stay connected long after the group ends. That is not a side effect. For a lot of women it is the point.
Who it is for
Women at any stage of the journey. Some arrive in the middle of something hard. Some arrive because they have been fine for years and have started to suspect that fine is not the same as well.
Meeting times and cost
Available virtually for women across New York, and in person in Brooklyn.
How to join
Reach out and tell us what brings you. We will let you know when the group meets, whether there is space, and whether H.E.R. Diary is the right starting point or whether individual sessions would serve you better first.
