Compassionate care. At your pace.

You are welcome here

The thoughts that wake you at 2am. The meeting you replayed for three days. The tightness that arrives before you know what it is about.

You have probably been told to relax, to breathe, to stop overthinking. If that worked, you would have done it years ago.

What anxiety actually looks like day to day

Anxiety is rarely dramatic. Usually it is this:

  • Worry that will not switch off, even when nothing is wrong
  • Replaying conversations, hunting for what you did wrong
  • Physical tension — jaw, shoulders, stomach — that has become normal
  • Trouble falling asleep, or waking at the same hour every night
  • Saying yes when you mean no, then resenting it
  • Exhaustion that rest does not fix

Anxiety, stress and burnout do not have to be your normal.

How we work with this

We start by helping you understand why your mind works the way it does. Not as a lecture — as a relief. Most people find that the moment anxiety stops feeling random, it stops feeling quite so powerful.

More about how we work with this

From there the work is practical. We look at the thoughts that keep the cycle running and what happens when you test them instead of obeying them. We build skills for the moments that actually matter — the meeting, the phone call, the hour before sleep. You leave with tools you can use this week, not only insight.

We also look underneath. For many people anxiety is not the whole story: many who have experienced trauma find themselves battling anxiety years later without connecting the two. If that is true for you, your therapist will work there too.

No single method is used on everyone. Your therapist selects what fits you.

When stress has become burnout

Some people arrive not anxious but empty — capable at work and hollow at home, running on obligation. That is worth treating, and it responds well.

What starting looks like

You do not need a diagnosis and you do not need to justify it. If worry is costing you sleep, energy, or presence with the people you love, that is enough reason.

Early sessions map what is happening and when. Most people notice something shifting within the first few weeks — usually a sense that this is workable.
